Wherein you, the readers, talk amongst yourselves.

I promised to ask this question periodically up until election day, but I'll word it a bit differently based on the current polls. Do you think that the race is over for John McCain? Will Barack Obama win on November 4th?

Unless Barack Obama kills a man between now and November, I don't see a McCain victory as a very realistic possibility.

I think Obama will win,but it will be a lot closer than the polls suggest-all this talk of an electoral landslide is ridiculous. We might be up late watching the results…

I maintain that it's too early to call. But I know I voted today and I voted Obama.

I believe that Obama will win but, I also think they are going to try every trick in the book from messing with votes to turning people away to try and get mccain in office and don't be surprise if some votes get lost. Here in North Carolina they are already saying that if you hit Obama name before putting your party in the computer doesn't count your vote so please be careful people when you vote or we will have another bush situation.

I think the one that wears the least makeup will win. But ya know, the Washington Post reported on Monday and showed YouTube evidence that Biden does botox. (His spokespeople denied it today.) So I guess botox counts.

Ok then, I liked the least houses wins that Chris Rock said. But funny that I just googled 'palin tanning bed'. So now I'll say, the winner is the one who needs a tanning bed least.

It really seems a n0-brainer! But remember we are dealing with old, white, Republican, Evangelical men…….so anything is possible. They have lied and cheated before!

I think its still too close to call. The same polls that have Obama ahead had Kerry and Gore ahead at this time when they ran for President. I just hope it a clear cut victory and we don\'t have to wait weeks or months to figure out who won.

It ain't over till it's over. I put nothing past the Republicans to hold on to the Oval Office. I won't be comfortable about his winning until half way through his first term and he's running for re-election.

If McPain steals the election and you hear about a woman jumping off a cruise ship on inuguration day, it's me.

DI, we can have a small ceremony. Lilies. Cheesecake.

Jason, uh…

did you see the 'I am done' PART??!?!? *long drawn out soap opera sigh*

Well, since you asked, here we go —

ABC News did a piece last night about the 'Bradley Effect.' (Everybody knows what the 'Bradley Effect' is by now, right…. it's when a Black candidate runs for office and all the white people are like "Oh CERTAINLY I will vote for him or I will die!!!" Man whatever. Dude ends up losing but was up by like 14 points in the polls based on all these crazy people. And why did dude lose? Because white people lie LIKE A RUG. They had an "Undecided" option they could have chosen when they were polled, but did they say they were "undecided?" Oh no. They said they were voting for Dude and ended up not doing so. We call that 'lying.'

On the other hand, generally speaking, Black people are straightforward. I dont know if this is a function of our American experience but we don't play alot of games. You poll a Black person and ask BlackPerson if theyre voting for such & such who they have no intention of voting for and they will say "Nope. Sure am not." And if you ask them *why* they won't vote for them, ain't no shame in their game. They will tell you they don't agree with them… and furthermore, they don't want Freckled People running stuff. They dont trust Freckled People. Aint no hemming and hawing. Black people have never thrown an election by saying one thing and doing another, but whitefolk have done this many times, thus making it a phenomenon or "effect" when race is involved. That's the difference.

OK. That's one aspect of this 'lie' thing that Im talking about. The other more obvious aspect of lying that makes this election up for grabs is the chiefest of liars, ole John McCain and his Lil Miss Winkles over there lying like wall to wall carpet. Because these people lie like it's their JOB, anything can happen in the next few weeks.

Bottom line. White people in America enjoy their power in this country and they will lie through their teeth to keep it.
