Pay down the cc debt we amassed (sp?) on honeymoon….would be the smart thing, but we'll probably use it for a long weekend in Napa in. I hasven't given it much thought b/c it's such a small amount, you know??

Two tanks of gas for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee.

I cannot wait to see the impact that the "stimulus" has on the economy. I'm going to assume that the money will act as a buffer to one of the following:
1) rising food costs
2) rising gas costs
3) pay off past due debt (mainly consumer debt)

If that's the case, I don't really see how that stimulates anything.

I'm probably going to use it to travel or pay for bridesmaid activities.

I think ours will be going directly into the bank and staying. I know that is the last thing W wants us to do with it, but we may need it later if the country keeps heading in the same direction.

I am saving it.

I am going to invest part of mine in a 401(K) so it will not be taxed as part of my income. We do realize this is only an advance for next tax season, right? If you normally end up paying this will be included as part of your tax debt and you pay the difference. If you normally get a refund it will be your refund minus this rebate. Tread carefully!

It's going right under my mattress.
