This is all I'm going to say about my favorite episode…

"We don't like the day, we only like the night. We don't like to play, we only like to fight and we'll do it in your FACE!!!"

OK The Gordon episode rocked! And I was going to stick with that but I have to bring up the one when Claire moved the sofa in front of the door and called Vanessa a wench when she haaaaaaad to sneak out to see her boyfriend then Cliff called the boy and said Vanessa can only have company at midnight or something ridiculous and the boy said his parents would kill him for sneaking out!

OK OK I more- when Cliff told Theo that was the "dumbest thing I ahve ever heard" when he said he just wanted to be a normal person- not a doctor and lawyer like them.

I loved that episode. I also liked the episode when Theo got his ear pierced and the episode when theo wanted to be "a regular person" and not professionals like his parents.

"dumbest thing I have ever heard". And Chic Noir is correct- it was "regular person" not normal person.

I have too many to count..I want it all on dvd …but my favorite line was when Vanessa was complaining about being rich, and Cliff was like let's be clear - WE ARE Rich, you just live here!!!

Have already used a version of this with my 6 year old…….

The first episode, where Cliff teaches Theo the value of a dollar and living in the real world.

The one where Cliff, Elvin, Theo and Martin are pregnant.

The episode when Theo and Cockroach attempted to go on the dance show. There was only one spot left and Cockroach went on and left Theo standing there.

We barely saw Cockroach after that….

*M* Rudy's sleepover had me crying. I also liked when the family sung for the grandparents.

The Episode where Rudy wanted to go to a party in her summer dress, and the family was getting rid of a water heater, and Cliff offered to help her find a dress to go to the party. That was a wonderful father daughter moment. And Ray Charles singing "It's Not That Easy Being Green" was a bonus

It's a cross between when the kids and Cliff and Claire danced and sang to "Nighttime is the Right Time" for their grandparents' anniversary…

The other favorite is when Cliff eats that sandwich and those Muppets get in his head all night!!!

The anniversary episode when they sang "Nighttime.." is my absolute favorite. However, I nicknamed my then 2 yr-old Gordon because she always wanted to dress herself and her clothes looked like the Gordon Gartrelle shirt that Denise made. Yes, I still call her Gordon!!

AuNappturale!! I always try to tell people about the Muppet episode and they think i'm lying or something. That is definitely one of my favs. Also, the one where all the men have a competition to surprise their wives and Cliff gets Clair the plastic bracelet after he tricks her into thinking he got something that Eunice Chantilly wanted! Love the look on her face.

great thread! I love the GG episode, plus when Claire moved the sofa.

Morgan, I loved that episode with Eunice Chantilly reference. It tripped me out that Alvin did the hand movements that said when he gave his gift to Sandra they would want to go upstairs and Cliff motioned that they would have to walk outside of the house.umm hmm

Plus, I liked when Vanessa had to jump and down in her dress to make sure nothing spilled out before she went to that party!

oh nooo, I forgot I loved Rudy's sleepover episode! Now, I know that A Keys was one of her guests when the twins did there rhyme and Cliff did the horsey with the girls on his leg and got tired…

"uno, dos??
East, West
I met my boyfriend at the candy store
He bought me ice cream
He bought me cake
He bought me home with a bellyache
Mama, Mama
I feel sick
Call the doctor
QUICK, QUICK, QUICK
Dr., Dr. will I die?
close your eyes and count to 5
I said a 1,2,3,4,5
I'm alive"

When Vanessa sneaks off to Baltimore and Claire goes off on her.

"…All the way to Baltimore! To be with The Wretched and have big fun! Big fun! Isn't that what you had, Vanessa? Didn't you go there for Big Fun?…..Shut. Up!!!!"

I loved that one and the one when Sandra tells them she's not going to Law School and Claire asks her for her Princeton tuition money back. I always loved the ones when Claire gets mad!!

My favorite episode is when Denise has her friend over and their watching I guess what is supposed to be MTV, and enjoying reggae music. And her friend starts saying, "I say eh man" and he gets really into it and Denise joins in while Cliff is so annoyed LOL.

The one where they organized a protest against the grocery store that charged more in the city. This was later on when Erika Alexander was on.

There's also the one where Cliff takes Rudy and her friends to a fancy restaurant. That was super cute.

@Ashley NIcole I was just about to post about that episode.

I loved the sleepover that Rudy had when the little girl goes to wake up Clif so that he could take her own and by the time he was ready she had made up with Rudy. Cliff told her next time "I am gonning to give you 75 cents and next time you will take the bus home.

I love the episode when all the men were pregnant and gave birth to hoagies and orange soda and sailboats. Whenever I bring it up, people think I've made the episode up. But it is so funny!

I love all the ones you guys mentioned but I love the one where Vanessa sneaks and borrows Denise's sweater to go with her purple skirt without asking. She was going to a party and wanted to impress Robbbbert :) but ended up fighting Denise when she got caught. Cliff tries to straighten it all out and ends up snapping on Denise after finding his stuff in her closet. Love that.
Oh, and the one where Rudy, Theo and Vanessa go visit Sondra and Elvin in their crappy apartment after they dropped out of grad school. They had a broken b/w tv and furniture that they found on the street, loud/fighting neighbors, a toaster oven that barely worked and tried to act like they were cool with living on virtually nothing. That was a trip!

I have so many faves!
My ultimate #1 Favorite was when they taught Theo what it was like to live in the "Real World". Rudy dressed up in the suit with the glasses- hillarious. And Mrs. Fargwart and Milly. LOL!

Close runners up:
~The anniversary "Babbbbbbbbayyyyy- Night and Day!"
~When Vanessa and friends wanted to start a singing group. "Everybody's doing a brand new dance now- come on baby do the locomotion!" And then Claire took the tissue out of their tops.
~And Rudy as "Sweet Feet"!
