Wherein you, the readers, talk amongst yourselves.
Sports, with the notable exception of the Olympics and University of Virginia football/basketball, are not my thing. Are you sports fans? Which ones do you watch?
I watch the finals for several sports. Right now, I don't watch any otherwise though I follow certain athletes like Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Michelle Wie and my future husband Roger Federer.
1. I love Track&Field and have to stay up very late at night to watch it. It's not a big sport in the states, so ESPN puts in on at weird hours. A few bloggers like myself love the sport so I write some of them emails to discuss different athletes.
2. Women's Gymnastics- sometimes.
3. Women's Ice Skating- A little bit.
I really like tough sports that take a toll on the body. Track and Gymnastics are brutal on the body. It’s like runners and gymnastics are constantly battling injuries. Most elite athletes in either sport, last about 10 years tops. Many sprinters complain about the level of pain the must withstand during training.
I also like to see women compete in tougher sports. I not really a boxing or wrestling fan but I will watch womens’ boxing and wrestling. BTW, an African-American woman won a bronze metal at the recent Olympics in wrestling.
I also find it hard to watch sports in which there a lot of pauses and breaks.
Football- some call it Soccer ( do not know where that came from) But the foot makes constant contact with the ball, so it called Football. The one thing that can end wars and bring the world together. (In hatred of the Germans)
Sports junkie - played soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Now I am a golf junkie. I watch mostly college basketball, golf ans tennis now but love going to NBA games. Have been thinking about starting Tae Kwon Do…..
1 - Track (Field not so much)
2 - WNBA/ Women's college Basketball if Rutgers or Temple are playing.
Everything else I may watch a championship game or series, such as the Superbowl, NBA Championship (usually just the last game), World Series (if the Yankees are playing).
I LOVE Basketball on all levels. I love to play softball. I love to go to football games. Also all sports during the Olympics. Gotta love the "Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat!"
*M* said it.
Football rules the world. Had to put our lives on hold during the Euro08.
World Cup in 2010!!!. It's the one subject, weither you are in Thailand, Ghana, or India that will help you make friends (well, that and Coronation street). Billions of fans.
After that I enjoy Rugby and Cricket.
The beautiful sports.

Football, college and professional. This is my favorite time of year since it's the start of football season.
I love Basketball and Golf.

@Daria at Gorgeous Black Women
Michelle Wie? Really, she's never won anything. It seems like she ran a big scam on Nike and other sponsors.
