Model Behavior

Last night the ladies of Top Model covered themselves in makeup and then even more paint as the the battle to look beautiful raged on. According to the ANTM judges, contestant Marvita looked the least pretty while slathered in goo, so she was asked to leave. Fin.

I actually saw this! Marvita should have been asked to leave for drinking an 8ball (I think it was Old English??) on national fucking TV. Talk about a stereotype.

I watched this last night. Marvita has a lot of potential but I think she felt defeated and it showed in her photos. I felt bad for her.

That chick from Africa gets on my nerves always calling the other black chicks in the house 'ghetto' and other stereotypical terms. My favorite chick so far is Claire. I think she has a unique looking face.

BMD,

I used to drink that assy malt liquor (Old E, Steel Reserve, Mickey's Ice) in college. Guys at parties loved it and it was a quick way to get drunk. Unfortunately, malt liquor makes you gain weight quickly and that's exactly what I did :(

Damn. See, this is why I have always liked you. I don't do beer so my college days were about Ever Clear, Jack Daniels, Mad Dog 20/20 (yes, nuccas, the 20/20) and Yager.

BMD,

Lordy, lordy I love my 40! Hahaha
I never messed with Ever Clear. Popov was gross enough for me. Jack D carried me through many party nights too. That stuff is rough!

Did anyone else find the photoshoot degrading? I don't blame Marvita for the way she looked in her picture. How would most women feel after being photographed for the infamous "money shot"? 'Cuz that's what it looked like to me…

OMG, spoiler alert! Don't tell us what happened the day after - this episode is still waiting for me on my TiFaux!

i've not ever watched the show, so i could be totally wrong, but it seems the whole show is degrading.

people like the show, whatevs. but it just seems that an isolated episode is one of a larger series of degradation.

@ Jillybean

Yeah, I'm tired of Fatima with her stuck-up attitude. She strikes me as one of those African immigrants who've been affected by some Af-Ams who've mistreated her. And it doesn't help how she's gassed over the Iman comparisons.

I like Dominique with her tranny-looking self, LOL! She flips next week though.

How is Fatima stuck-up for calling the girl "ghetto" when you all pretty much agree that drinking malt liqua is, well, kinda classless?

I've only watched one episode, the one where the Barbie doll who can't really model was kicked off, so I'm just going by your comments above.

If I look at it long enough, yes, I do see "money shot" but I don't really think the picture is that bad. It's not great but it's not bad either.
