Tyra doing a show about sex-positivity? A good idea, but just the wrong format. Even though using “we” in the title means that more of us have sexual desires and practices beyond the “vanilla” penetrative sex, the word “freak” still casts these behaviors as bizarre=negative–the exact opposite meaning of sex-positivity.

And I’m with you, Monie–Tyra, whose other TV show is all about finding the ideal beauty, does come off as contradictory. Hmmm…

Tyra Banks, please GET the fuck off our TV sets. I agree with Monie, what a self-loathing, fake-ass lying hypocrite. Preaching about “black beauty,” and then trying so hard to look as white as possible.

Remember the episode on Tyra where she was all like, “beauty comes in all sizes, colors and shapes!”

Well, um, then why the hell does “Top Model” exist in the first place?

Monie I have seen pictures of her sporting her cornrolls in public.

boredKidz- Tyra made her mark as a model so I don’t hold “Top Model” against her.

People need to learn to love themselves and not look to the fashion world for acceptance.

Tyra has naturally light colored eyes and redish brown hair. The weaves(blonde, cotton candy colored) are a bit over the top though.

Yeah I’ve seen a few pics of her rockin’ cornrows but wasn’t that last century? (Lol) I think that was in the mid 90’s. I haven’t seen her ‘natural’ in eons.

Monie, I’ve seen her rocking cornrolls since she started the talk show. One of the pics was taken during the time she was dating the tall handsome white guy.

Tyra is a supermodel, we should all feel blessed she’s gracing out television screens.

Seriously though, at least she’s not beating people down like Naomi.
