When you look (beautiful) and act (like you've got a good head on your shoulders) like Kerry Washington, it's no surprise that the single life is not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. She recently told People that she has been reveling in her newly unattached status.

I had always met guys in other ways and never really did the whole dating scene where you go out on multiple dates with different guys," she said. "I am totally the girl who gets introduced to someone through a mutual friend and a dinner party, falls in love and then is with them for like two years."

But that was then. These days the actress is enjoying her single status – and finding the dating scene a lot less daunting than she had imagined.

Then again, she could just be lying. It doesn't matter who you are — we all know Halle Berry's history with men — the "freak dates" will find you.
