Question: Will John McCain step up and do anything about the vitriolic and increasingly dangerous tone of his rallies?
Answer (from the horse's mouth):
"Barack Obama's attacks on Americans who support John McCain reveal far more about him than they do about John McCain. It is clear that Barack Obama just doesn't understand regular people and the issues they care about. He dismisses hardworking middle class Americans as clinging to guns and religion, while at the same time attacking average Americans at McCain rallies who are angry at Washington, Wall Street and the status quo," reads a statement from spokesman Brian Rogers. "Even worse, he attacks anyone who dares to question his readiness to serve as their commander in chief in chief. Raising legitimate questions about record, character and judgment are a vital part of the Democratic process, and Barack Obama's effort to silence and shame those who seek answers should make everyone wonder exactly what he is hiding."
Update: Around the same time McCain's campaign was releasing the above statement, John McCain was getting a clue and attempting to nip some of the anti-Obama sentiment in the bud at a rally today. He was booed.
Who the fuck is McCain talking about here? 'Cause it damn sure isn't about Obama.
We're living in a time when the stupids of the country have become so massive that even blatant TRUTHS & FACTS are disputed, and outright LIES are embraced like gospel.
That was just McCain talking in his sleep. He'd just watched the post debate headlines before he went to bed. Homie is standing on his last leg and he knows it. He's didn't even have the heart to "attack" Barack as was planned. He really doesn't have the guts to lead this country much less handle his own deficiencies.
Well, I saw the video. While he was booed by some of the crowd, he was applauded by the majority. And I noticed that when the lady who said that Obama was "an Arab" and the man who said that he couldn't "trust him to run the country", both of their voices lowered, a sign of self deception, they know that this is false, they know that sheer racism is driving them and they were looking for validation from Senator McCain. I have respect for McCain for standing up and saying these claims are false. HOWEVER, he had a full week to do this. He let this fester for a week. Whether he did this because he truly believes this or because he has no choice but to refute this nonsense, he still has TV ads going on saying the exact thing and he still has Pitbull Palin pushing these ideas. Either way and in asny case, he has lost this election and it would behoove him to shut up and pick up his last scrapes of dignity and go home.
Honestly, they were plants so that he could make his awkward statements. Give me a break. The seeds have been planted and they continue to grow - he knows that.
I got a good chuckle out of the video. Especially the lone black man who stood up and said "I'm beggin' you… I'm beggin' you… go after him". I can't wait until the fat lady sings on this one. I need for all of the hateraide sippin' to end so "they" can just eat that humble pie and accept the fact that a man of integrity has stepped up to assume the reigns of power in America.
Oh, and don't worry… he won't kill your investments… you'll do that all on your own. He won't be moved to commit hate crimes… again, he'll leave all that to your own doing. I know I won't get an instant entitlement promotion just because that "black man" is the president… but you're probably thinking that Affirmative Action is going to come back. And your property values won't dip because of him… that will happen, if it does, because people like you will panic and move out once anyone moves in.
So, just sit back, enjoy the ride homie. Then we can all sit 'round the campfire and work agree on a plan to get my 401K back up to where it should be.
Of course he was booed because it's mob mentality like this that allowed racism to be born. he could have stood by his words that the campaigns would focus on the issues but, he needed leverage when he notice that true Americans wasn't playing into the whole race thing. People are feeling the squeeze black and white and they are ready for change.Mccain has given himself enough rope and he is hanging himself. So,us real Americans let's just make sure we get out and vote.
It's so sad that no matter what facts are put out there to rebuke claims that Senator Obama has terrorist ties (he was eight, Republicans!) and/or that he's Arab (smh), McCain's supporters don't seem to be seeing/listening to it. It seems his, McCain's, supporters are basing their decisions solely on heresay in their communities and not actual facts.
About the Ayers thing. Maybe I'm missing something, but it doesn't make sense why people keep bringing this up. Obama was eight years old. Is it a sick mentality that they can't see a black boy as a child?
