Wendy Williams Already Fighting With Guests On Daytime Talk Show
But It Was Omarosa. Does That Count?

Wendy Williams will make herself a huge television star yet. She's already completed the first step in making her readers skyrocket — an ugly on-air fight with a wholly unsympathetic person. On her show yesterday, the infamous-in-NYC Williams said a few choice things about guest Omarosa during her intro, and things just went downhill from there.

The altercation started when Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth first walked onto the daytime talk show and said she was displeased with Williams' introduction of her and would not be disrespected. Things got uglier when Williams grabbed Omarosa's book cover to hold it up to the camera, and Omarosa snatched it back out of Williams' hand.

"Omarosa wished her career was my career," Williams told the AP. "Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman."

The yanking gave way to Omarosa attacking Williams' appearance, asking the talk show host whether she had had a nose job and suggesting she shouldn't wear wigs. But Williams didn't stay silent throughout the heated interview. She called Omarosa "a typical angry black woman" and suggested cosmetic injections could fix her wrinkles.

Williams told the AP that she had no reason to invite the Apprentice loser back on her show. Once she sees all the attention the first visit got, I'm sure she'll find a reason. [WP]

I saw the clip and I'm surprised Wendy didn't knock her out.

I must confess, I'll watch Wendy's show if it goes national.

Both of these women are idiots, but especially Omorrososaoo, or whatever. Who cares about either of them? Both need to do us all a favor and get the heck out of the spotlight–please. Yech.

WTF? Omarosa is SO yesterday, she wrote a book? Save the paper! Why did somebody publish her crap? Nobody wants to read what she has to say. She was a contestant on a reality show, big deal, these days those shows are a dime a dozen. Hundreds of people have been on reality tv now, your nothing special OMAROSA!

I can't stand either one of these women. I saw a clip though and have to say I more sided with Omarosa from what I saw. She was talking about how 77% of women accept the first salary offer without negotiating and she talks about how to negotiate in her book then Wendy says you really aren't my type of person because your a stereotypical Angry Black Woman. So Omarosa said I'd rather be an educated ABW than a buffoon and talk about me now to my face and not on your radio show tomorrow.

I wouldn't watch the show any. Drama or not.

Looks like pre-arranged publicity stunt to me. Nice work ladies. :)

So… before watching the clip, i expected that it would increase my disdain for Omarosa. However, i was wrong. i'd actually have to say Round 1 - Omarosa. In agreeance with NeeNee (comment #5), Omarosa made some good points along with her cattiness. Wendy was just pretty much catty.

Go, Omarosa! Wendy plays 'Black Barbie' to the hilt- lightened skin, anglicized nose, fake blond hair. Wendy has no confidence in her blackness at all and Omarosa is strong enough to go head to head with Trump. Talk about a mismatch!

Sorry for some reason my PC didn't show that the clip was up the first time. I didn't need to go do a breakdown. But anyway I agree with Nichelle, a publicity stunt.

It does seem like a publcity stunt, though Wendy holding back from fighting Omarosa should she has some tolerance. I haven't seen her show entirety, but I've seen clips, and it seems like a great show. Why did Omarosa keep her ex-husband's last name, I heard their divorced?

Both of them are ignorant, but I did agree with Omarosa on some key points about not settling for the first salary offer. I never figured Wendy Williams for an "Aunt Jane." So, I guess she just bowed to master and took the first thing Fox offered her. Then again, her show is on Fox, 'nuff said.

If Wendy really didnt like this woman why did she invite her on the show? She is so disrespectful! Is this the only way she feels she can make it to the top by talking badly about others? We do not need another show out like a Wendy Williams show if she's going to behave like this. We do not want our younger generation to think that this behavior is acceptable. Wendy has some nerve calling someone an angry black woman! Look at how she treats people! She is an angry woman. Wendy has no class or Dignity about herself! I wouldnt watch her television show.

Wendy Williams should have knocked that bitch right into the camera where she was attempting to show the cover of her book. Omarosa needs to be knocked the hell down a couple of pegs.

Well to start I did not see the full show, only clips. It really doesn't matter why Wendy had her on the show. It's not like the name Omarossa is going to boost ratings in and of it's self. Wendy has been doing this for how long? My point exactly, longer than "Oma" has been in the spotlight. So if it was a publicity stunt(highly doubted), Oma did good for herself. Did you wastch for Oma or Wendy? And to all the "ABW's", It's Wendy Freaking Williams. She is the only one in radio and talk show history to tell it like it is. So instead of getting offended, you should be listening and maybe you won't be an "ABW".

How embarrassing!! But I will say this. Omarosa outfit was cute and summery. I thought the ruffle top was attractive and the color suited her. Although Omarosa is not a very attractive woman, she beats Wendy in the "taste" department. Wendy's dress was ill fitting and her hair/wig did not compliment her at all. I cannot wait till the day when blonde hair on black women is over!!

Omarosa is an idiot. If she wasn't prepared for Wendy then she shouldn't have come on the show. Wendy Williams has been doing the same thing on air via radio and her TV show isn't going to be any different. She's going to get to the questions everyone wants to know, and she makes people keep it real. As for Omarosa being an ABW, Wendy called it as she saw it! Keep doing what you do Wendy, that's why people love you!
