hrc.jpgWhat Hillary Clinton Said:

"I'm very proud that as of today, I have received more votes by the people who have voted than anyone else."

What Hillary Clinton Meant:

I am leading in the popular vote by about 120,000 votes, everybody! Before you get all excited, I should say that I'm only leading if you don't count the four caucus states that didn't report vote tallies and you do count Florida — iffy, but I think I can get away with it — and Michigan, where my name was the only one on the ballot and 237,762 Democrats voted against me by choosing "uncommitted." See, I'm clearly the most popular!"

You know, I used to not mind her all that much. Now, I just want to stick a fork in my eye every time she screeches on my tv.

If she steals the nomination, I'm not sure I can pull a lever for this sneaky, insincere, opportunistic heifer.

I read this earlier and it really makes me uneasy. I know that there is a game that all politicians must play but this is becoming a show now. I was one to believe that she shouldn't drop out of the race before but now she is just running for the sake of running and spinning every outcome, phrase, news headline to make it harder for Obama (who she knows will be the nominee now) to win in the general election. I can't believe that Hilary actually believes in her heart and mind that she will emerge as the nominee. She is smarter than that and she wants McCain to win so that she can run again in 2012.

Isabel: I agree with YOU! Thank you!! I used to actually really worship this woman but now
I can't STAND her divisive bullshit!

Well, this could just be posturing. A plausible: Hillary is trying to ruin it for the Dems in 2008. Her superdelegates didn't support her like she wanted, the DNC is being unfair, Obama hasn't paid his dues in scandals yet, yada yada yada. So, if she can't win then nobody can. By continuing to harp on Obama's non-electability and drudging up dirt for the RNC, she's ensuring he won't win. Thus, the repubs will win in 2008, and she can run again in 2012. Oh wait! Obama will probably run again, too. Okay, back to the OP, stick a fork in my eye. Better yet, just hold it and I'll run into it myself.

I saw an interview with either Barack or Michelle Obama that said if they didn't win this election, that there would be no more presidential runs. I wish I could remember where I read it.

Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda chief said, "Tell a lie, make it a big one, repeat it often enough, and a lot of people will believe it.

Hillary learned from the best..

It should be clear to any superdelegate with half a brain that she Hillary Clinton is indeed trying to pull off what Yolanda and Gaffawed have suggested here. It's sickening to watch her pretend to care about the problems this country faces when she obviously only cares about her own political ambitions. They already HAD 8 years in the Whitehouse!! She's a self absorbed, opportunistic, delusional politician that has more in common with the worst Republicans than people seem to realize. I mean she's basically Joe Lieberman with a vagina.

Isabel, are the gendered insults necessary?

I say we just give it to her now so she can at least maintain some integrity
because the out there statements are
making me head explode.

Let her be the Dem nominee so I can take pleasure in writing in the name of Ororo Munroe in the general.
