President Bush On His Ultimate Sacrifice

What George W. Bush Said:

“I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

What George W. Bush Meant:

"Laura told me it was bad for my image to keep playing golf, even though its my favorite thing to do. So then I asked Karl what he thought, and he agreed with Laura. So I quit golf, and no one has even noticed or cared! If I knew that I would make this personal sacrifice just for appearances' sake and 71 percent of the country would still think I was the worst president ever, I never would have thrown away my clubs. That's for damn sure."

If I were him, I'd play golf. Why the f— not? The people who are still supporting him are the Ride or Die sort so he's not getting any more unpopular.

I mean really. It's not like seeing you at your kid's wedding while many of them are going to their kids' funerals stings any less. It really pales in comparison.

Isn't it unfair ?

When he wants to make us laugh, Sarkozy takes his fiancée ((now wife/who used to be a very succesful model/who posed in nude)) to a Disney World Paris escapade… it's not as funny.

Hey Frenchie. This pales in comparison to the British parliament. If I had those people representing me, I'd have to move. US politicians are horrible but they at least pretend to respect themselves when the cameras are rolling.
