Oh, NYPD. What are we going to do with you. Right on the heels of a racial profiling lawsuit from a NY Post reporter (although his paper doesn't believe racial profiling exists), the Sean Bell disaster, and a report questioning the racial imbalance of the police force's stop-and-search technique, two white, plain-clothes officers are in deep trouble after ordering an off-duty black officer, who happens to be the highest-ranking black officer in the NYPD, out of his car. Needless to say, they didn't recognize him.
The officer, Chief Douglas Zeigler, head of the Community Affairs Bureau, said there was no reason for the cops to approach his car, which was parked on the street, in the first place. The cops said they saw his gun through his rolled-down window and ordered him out of the car when, instead of identifying himself, he said, "Don't you know who I am?" Despite the differing accounts, one of the of the cops has been stripped of his gun and badge and placed on modified duty. Embarrassing. [NYDN]

I must say Im kinda happy this happened! Then finally they can quit making excuses about "just doing their job" when they harass, mistreat, and kill us. This happens every day and is usually explained away or, in most cases, not "news" at all. I cant wait to see how they try to spin this….
you mean colored people are cops, well i do declare, next thing you know they will want to be President. This just goes to show how KKKops feel every black person has broke some law and if they didn't they will soon, this is why i don't like KKKops , they need to have a training to help get this out of their blood, it shows a problem that is going on in this country daily with how whites misread blacks
